Interest in Russian culture coming back once again with a stronger influence in fashion, that starts this winter and will be one of the Main Direction for the FW 14/15 season.

Russian Style considered the one of the most feminine,  with it’s fragile & sophisticated silhouettes, long skirts, princess style dresses, fur (it can be also a faux fur!), scarves, folklore prints & embroidery, inspired by the Russian aristocracy of 18th century.

Original Russian folklore costumes will be the main inspiration theme,  typical babyshka ( which means “grandmother”) floral scarves with a rich color palette in deep red, forest green, orange an yellow shadows mixed with black. Paying tribute to the heritage with fur, as it was done by Ulyana Sergeenko, with her iconic long fur skirt done for FW 2013 Haute Couture, not forgetting about an amazing mix of glamorous materials such velvet, satin, lace with rich embroidery.
