The most amazing night of the year in Hollywood and the most glamorous red carpet in world – OSCAR! How you could miss such an event! It’s not only about the celebration of the best movies, actors, scenography etc.., but the dresses that takes the centre stage. Months and months of preparation before the great event and finally we figured out who’s the best.
It was a really long night with lots of magic moments and here is what we liked the most,
starting from our TOP 5 ELEGANCE LIST:
First place on our Elegance List goes to Zoe Saldana in her custom-made Atelier Versace blush gown draped at the waist, with full train. Just fabulous!
Second place goes to Scarlett Johansson and once again custom-made Atelier Versace emerald green gown with a collar embroidered with 2,000 Swarovski crystal stones. (a bit heavy embroidery, but still looking stunning!)
Third place for Juliane Moore. We are so happy for Julianne Moore who got an Oscar for the leading role in “Still Alice” she definitely deserves it! Absolutely spectaculous in her Chanel strapless dress. This dress was custom-made by Karl Lagerfeld. It required 987 hours of work and 27 people to complete this masterpiece with 80,000 hand-painted sequins and flowers made of ivory, beige and black organza. (she’s just a bit too pale for this ivory beige tones )
Fourth place goes to actress Jennifer Aniston. And again Atelier Versace SS 15. One-shoulder fully-beaded nude gown. Congratulation Jennifer! Finally not the usual LBD 🙂
On the Fifth and last place Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo. A couple wearing both Armani. Prinsloo was in her red beaded Armani Privè dress. And the performance of Adam with the song “Lost Stars” was breathtaking! Thank you for your voice and your incredible talent.
Congratulations to John Legend and Common for the song “Glory” from the film Selma.
We are always amazed by the costumes made by Milena Canonero. She got an Oscar for the Best Costume Design in “The Grand Budapest Hotel” (The costumes in Marie-Antoinette were designed by Milena Canonero) We loved her masculine look with one single statement earring!
Best film for us is “Whiplash”.
